Beloved JCI Members!
For the past sixty years, JCI Philippines has been known in
leadership development, anchored on social responsibilities by leading
our respective communities and encouraging excellence, innovations and
productivity. The JCI members have been lauded by taking a positive
attitude in life and living as fine examples of constructive Filipino
values. We have become the neutral but potent voices in our
communities, sounding off and showing alternative solutions to the
problems not only of our respective towns and cities but of the
country as well.
In this current climate of financial, political and social uncertainty
not only here but all over the world, it is our leadership that will
be called upon to navigate our way through these uncertain times.
This is a great opportunity for us to take part in a leading role in
our country, for never before have our ideals been enjoying such broad
appeal and relevance. So I call upon each and every member, past and
present, in the true spirit of being JCI members
– that spirit which binds us together in
spite of our differences – to come together, not as many but as one.
It is for these reasons that we anchor
our term in 2009 with the rallying call of “ONE @ 61”…..
O – Open the doors for Growth
and Opportunities;
N
– New Dimensions to Explore;
E
– Energize our Members to a New Sense of Purpose – A Higher Purpose.
May you
carry on your tireless efforts to promote and uplift your LOM and
continue to inspire your members and the incoming officers to
BE BETTER.
I wish all of you the best of luck and am looking forward to working
with equally able and dedicated individuals with the same passion for
excellence. Let us continue to provide opportunities for young people
to develop their leadership skills, social responsibility and
entrepreneurship for the betterment of all as we expect nothing less
for a great year ahead of us.
Mabuhay po tayong lahat and let us be
ONE @ 61!
JCI Sen.
